Establishing reference photograph of a place: Vertical wide establishing shot, level camera, of an empty burned battlefield at dusk. Blackened, scorched grass stretches toward a crimson horizon, littered with snapped spear shafts jutting from the dusty earth. Ash drifts on the wind under an open sky streaked red and orange. A low amber sun from the side casts long dramatic shadows across the ground. Modern Japanese anime feature-film aesthetic, expressive linework, hand-painted background, cel shading, dramatic lighting, desolate and solemn mood. No people, no text.
