Image 1 is the character reference: keep this same young man, same face, same copper-red curly hair, same long dark navy coat, white shirt, thin dark tie, dark trousers, brown boots, paper coffee cup and slim tightly furled closed black umbrella with a wooden crook handle. Images 2 and 3 are style references only: copy their painting manner exactly, simple flat gouache shapes, clean graphic silhouettes, very little detail, big calm areas of pale colour, soft washed background fading into white mist. Do not copy any person, place or object from images 2 and 3. Scene: heavy rain has just started and the street is wet and grey-blue. Under a narrow shop awning huddle a delivery courier, a small boy holding a red balloon, an old man in a brown hat, a woman painter in an apron and a stout man in a brown suit holding a coffee tray, all drenched. Our tall thin hero stands in the rain and for the very first time opens his black umbrella, which blooms open impossibly huge, wide enough to shelter all of them; half-closed eyes, faint kind smile, coffee still in his other hand. Simple pale buildings fading into rain and mist, no other people, no landmarks. Full figures visible. No text, no logos, no watermark.
