Image 1 is the character reference: keep exactly this same young man, same face, same copper-red curly hair, same long dark navy coat, white shirt, thin dark tie, dark trousers, brown boots, paper coffee cup and slim black umbrella with a wooden crook handle. Hand-painted 2D animated film still, gouache and watercolor, soft painted rainy city street, restrained muted grey-blue palette with warm shop light, wide cinematic composition. Scene: heavy rain has just started. Under a narrow shop awning a crowd of drenched people huddle together: a delivery courier, a small boy with a red balloon, an old man in a hat, a woman painter, a stout man holding a coffee tray. Our tall thin hero stands in the rain in the middle of the street and for the very first time opens his black umbrella, and it blooms open impossibly huge, wide enough to shelter all of them, his eyes half-closed with a faint kind smile, coffee still in his other hand. Generic city with no landmarks. Full figures visible, boots on the wet ground. No text, no logos, no watermark.
