LAYOUT (this is the fixed map of the scene): the two children float upright side by side, facing the right side of the frame, about one metre apart: Kira (7, small) nearer to the camera, Yan (13, taller, glasses) just beyond her. About two metres in front of them (to the right in frame) hangs ONE giant Stygiomedusa with the anatomy of image 2: a smooth rounded dark wine-red bell, as tall as Kira, its top a little above the children's heads, and exactly four broad flat curtain-like ribbon arms hanging straight down from under the bell, reaching far below the children's fins and fading into the dark. The children's four white beams point forward at the jellyfish and light it in soft patches; the rest of it melts into black; it has no glow of its own. Fine dust only inside the beams. Clear bubble helmets with exactly two dark puck lamps outside the glass each; violet and cyan neck rings; purple fins.
