Piece 2, frame 6. One 16:9 film frame, stylized 3D kids' animation, the characters of image 1 (character card). No text.
Medium close shot in pitch-black water at 4000 m. On the left, the side of a giant matte dark wine-red Stygiomedusa bell, gently contracting, a slow wave running down one of its broad flat ribbon arms; it has no glow, visible only where white beams touch it. On the right, Yan (13, glasses, clear bubble helmet with exactly two dark puck lamps outside the glass, cyan neck ring, orange suit with dark-grey panels) leans closer in three-quarter view, fascinated, mouth closed; his two beams shine forward onto the bell. Fine dust specks only inside the beams.
