Piece 2, frame 3. One 16:9 film frame, stylized 3D kids' animation, the characters of image 1 (character card). No text.
Low angle in pitch-black water at 4000 m. Above the two small children (Kira left and smaller, Yan right and taller, seen from the side, faces tilted up, clear bubble helmets with two puck lamps each) the scalloped rim of a giant matte dark wine-red jellyfish bell slowly rises out of the darkness: the bell is a soft rounded dome about one metre tall, as tall as Kira. It has NO glow of its own: it is visible only in the patches where the children's two pairs of white beams touch it, showing a soft velvety texture; the rest of it fades into black. One broad flat ribbon-like arm, dark red, unfolds past the camera in the foreground. Fine dust specks glitter only inside the beams.
