Establishing reference photograph of a place: Overcast autumn courtyard, ground covered in a thick carpet of wet yellow-brown fallen leaves. In the background, the ochre plaster facade of a small club building with a dark weathered signboard above the entrance, its letters unreadable. In the foreground, an empty rough-hewn wooden bench beside a small wooden table. Damp air, muted colors, soft even grey daylight from a cloudy sky, no shadows. Quiet, melancholic mood. Live action cinema, 35mm film look, shallow depth of field, realistic textures.
