Frame 6 of a storyboard. One 16:9 film frame, stylized 3D kids' animation, the characters of image 1 (character card). No text.
An extremely wide shot of an enormous pitch-black void at 4000 m. In the lower left third, very small (each child about one twentieth of the frame height), the two children float side by side: Kira on the left, smaller and a little lower; Yan on the right, taller and a little higher; orange suits, purple fins, glowing neck rings (violet and cyan). Four thin parallel white beams from their helmet lamps reach forward into the black. Far away in the upper right, a single small blue flash of light; both children turn their heads toward it. Everything else is clean black water.
