Frame 1 of a storyboard. One 16:9 film frame, stylized 3D kids' animation, render style of image 1 (character card). No text.
The abyss at 4000 m, as dark as image 2 but almost totally black. Very far away in the black, slightly below centre, hang two tiny pairs of white helmet lights like two distant stars: the left pair a little lower (small Kira), the right pair a little higher (taller Yan). Each pair throws two faint short beams forward; inside the beams a few fine dust specks glitter. Everything else is pure black water, no surface light, no seabed, no creatures.
